Iberojet lands in Querétaro: new direct connection to Europe

Querétaro International Airport (AIQ) adds a new milestone in its international growth with the arrival of Iberojet, a Spanish airline offering both charter and regular flights, part of the Ávoris Corporación Empresarial group. Specialized in long-haul routes, Iberojet connects Europe with Latin America and the Caribbean, standing out for its reliable, modern, and high-quality travel experience.

Its arrival in Querétaro is part of an expansion strategy aimed at regions with strong economic and tourism potential. With its privileged location, ongoing development, and solid operational capacity, AIQ consolidates itself as a key hub strengthening the bridge between Mexico and Europe.

This partnership marks a pivotal moment for AIQ, boosting its international connectivity and positioning it as a strategic hub for the economic, tourism, and business development of the Bajío region. The arrival of Iberojet is also a clear vote of confidence in Querétaro’s present and future.

The new direct Querétaro–Madrid route will operate with two weekly frequencies starting in October 2025, using an Airbus A350-900 with a capacity of 432 seats.
