Liquids, gels, and aerosols
Liquids
In your carry-on luggage, you may only carry liquids, aerosols, or gels in individual containers of up to 100 ml (100 g or 3.2 oz).
Permitted bags
All containers must be placed in a transparent, resealable plastic bag, with a maximum capacity of one liter per passenger.
Containers
Products in containers larger than 100 ml will not be allowed in the cabin and must be transported in checked baggage.
Special considerations for transporting food and medications
Baby food
Baby food is allowed only if the baby is traveling with you.
Medications
They must be presented with a medical prescription and declared during security screening.
Prohibited Items
For your safety and that of everyone, certain items are not allowed on flights. Learn which items are restricted to avoid delays when checking in or passing through security.
Regulation of prohibited items for passengers, crews, authorities, government agencies, employees, and general users, whether on their person, in carry-on luggage, or as part of work equipment, in the cockpit or passenger cabin of public service aircraft; according to the following mandatory circular:

“ESTABLISHING THE REGULATION OF PROHIBITED ITEMS TO BE BROUGHT ON BOARD PUBLIC SERVICE AIRCRAFT, AND THEIR POSSESSION IN STERILE AREAS OF CIVIL AERODROMES FOR THE PREVENTION OF ILLEGAL INTERFERENCE.”
Among the prohibited items are:
- • Firearms, light weapons, and projectile-firing devices
- • Sharp and/or cutting objects, such as knives, scissors, or box cutters
- • Blunt objects, such as bats, clubs, or heavy tools
- • Chemical or toxic substances
- • Incapacitating devices, such as pepper spray or stun guns
- • Work tools
- • Explosive or incendiary substances or devices, such as fireworks or flares
